I found this Sega at my favorite thrift store. Seeing as I have all these old Sega games, it's only a matter of time until the stars align and I can play them. I gambled and lost on this one, but it was a cheap gamble. I am just wondering if I can possibly fix this thing myself? It seems to have a disconnect with it's AC power source. I am going to tear it apart. If I can't fix it, at least I got 3 controllers for 4 bucks! Win Win I think. Pack rat that I am, It would be sad to have to throw this thing in the garbage.

The End of an Era...
I said goodbye to an old friend on Saturday. I was given a bike by a dear friend of mine last winter, a great bike. I knew our time together would be brief.
I helped her pack it in a van and watched it drive away.
An old Peugeot single speed, but definitely a one of a kind. I am sitting here now trying to estimate how many hundreds of miles I put on that bike over the summer. 700? More? I don't know. But it was definitely a hard goodbye to a great commuter. I hope that there are a lot of miles in that bike's future. Sadly, I think it's destined for the indoors.
Meanwhile I am scouring craigslist for a new and similar bike. So far I am coming up empty handed, but the search is on....
